Event Description
Do you know what to do in an emergency? Become First Aid and CPR certified and learn how to apply those skills while hiking or mountain biking. Course will also provide essential trail hacks to prevent emergencies. This program is a must-have for those who frequent the outdoors! This program is completely FREE, but prior registration is required. Program is geared for people 14 years of age and older. Program details: Program is scheduled for Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Program will be held at Lookout Mountain Nature Center, located at 910 Colorow Road, Golden, CO 80401. This program is located indoors, graphic pictures are included in a portion of the course. You will learn how to respond to park emergencies and also gain hands-on skills while becoming First Aid/CPR qualified. Please bring a pen and paper for note taking.
