Brrr! It's winter in Colorado! When cold and snow are in the air, we can put on a heavy coat and boots to stay warm. But how do wild creatures stay alive in winter? In this program we'll explore how animalslike bears, bees, and birds survive the long, cold months. Join us for activities, a craft, and more! Program details:Ages 3 - 5 years with an adult. This program isspecifically designed for children ages 3-5 yrswith an adult. We ask that your child has reached his/her third birthday before participating in this class. Participant limit: 15 preschoolers (3 -5 yrs old) There may be an outdoor portion to this program. Dress for the weather (jackets, sweatshirts, hats, sunscreen) and wear comfortable walking shoes. You will meet inside Lookout Mountain Nature Center. Please check in at the front desk. Additional Information:Registration for this program opens at 9:00 AM one month before the date of the program. If you are registering after this time, but space is no longer available, please call Lookout Mountain Nature Center at 720-497-7600 to be placed on a waiting list.
